The Zen of Travel

A couple of years ago I was in Las Vegas on my path home from teaching a workshop. When I got to the air terminal, I discovered that my flight had been postponed which brought about a bundle of us to miss our connecting flights. Ok well! I have a tendency to be quiet about these sorts of things on the grounds that there truly is no utilization getting distraught about it. Actually, I was cracking jokes to the lady toward the rear of me to lighten the disposition a bit.

The gentleman before me, be that as it may, was distinctive. He was mad to the point that I could just about see steam coming out of his ears. He was yelling and screaming at this poor young girl behind the counter. It wasn't her blame that our flight was deferred, however he didn't appear to think about that. He spent around 10 minutes banging the counter with his hand and yelling at her in uproarious tones, and after that raged off. As I watched him go, I asked why in the world would you shout at the individual who has the ability to get you home?

Since I was next in line, I strolled up to her counter and instantly saw that she was doing everything in her energy to prevent herself from crying before me. She was distraught to the point that her hands were shaking! My heart softened. So I put my bags down and looked at her right without flinching. I then advised her to take as much time as she expected to get herself together in light of the fact that I was certain her director wasn't going to release her on a break. I then began to gently converse with her while she wiped her eyes and took a couple of full breaths.

We visited about the man and his circumstance for a couple of minutes until she had quieted down. I got her to laugh about it and she could advance. She then put me on a flight and I headed towards my gate. As I strolled towards security, I looked down at the ticket and was staggered when I saw that she had given me a seat in top notch! Besides there was an authentication that bought me supper in the air terminal.

As I've said ordinarily... what you place out in this world, you'll get back. Treat individuals like you yourself might want to be dealt with. That is the genuine key to it all.
